Experience, remember, copy, comprehend

A child´s environment is always growing. Movement and everything that moves give them great pleasure.

They love to explore everything for themselves. Moving things and making noises is lots of fun.

At this age they are beginning to recognise colours (yellow, red, green, blue) and shapes (circles, squares, triangles) and to name them.

They experiment continuously, creating new shapes and forms with peg-boards or stacking and building with blocks, and sorting into their own order. Little by little, through play, they experience and comprehend associations between cause and effect.
